Daniel Radcliffe, drunk in the video for 'Beginners' Slow Club

Slow Club have just premiered the video for 'Beginners', one of the best songs of that "Paradise" which reached the end of 2011 the No. 70 of the top selling albums in the UK. For this occasion, and away from the scenic description of the clip 'If We're Still Alive', the duo formed by Charles Watson and Rebecca Taylor wanted to draw media attention to an actor as well known as Daniel Radcliffe, who played Harry Potter in the series created by novelist J. K Rowling.

A few months ago we saw Daniel playing a desolate father in "The Woman in Black". That character, with a self worthy of admiration, is exactly opposite of what we see in this clip from 'Beginners' in which a drunk Radcliffe jumps, screams and bangs his head as if he had lost the love of his life. Many will wonder Radcliffe makes a video like this. The answer is simple: the young performer is a fan of Slow Club and that led to both the duet and the artist had just collaborating.

If you want to become the album "Paradise" we recommend that you let fall by the official website where they are still selling both physical format (CD, vinyl 12 ") and in digital format.

Discovering the artistic side of Brandon Boyd

Collaborating with Rockzone magazine led me to enjoy unforgettable moments. One of them lived to interview the wonderful singer of Incubus about a year ago. I remember waking up the day of that phone conversation with many doubts in my head. Was it to be Brandon Boyd another diva-like Dean DeLeo, and instead I would find dull and with a character of few words? In the end both nervousness fortunately did no good, the talks with Brandon was fine and she began to glimpse the fascinating love for art that Van Nuys has felt from well baby.
To start talking about the relationship between painting and Brandon should go back to the childhood of Van Nuys. In boyhood Boyd was dropped by the house of his grandparents, where innocently took as a first reference artistic self-portrait of his mother hanging from the guest room. That image so powerful that even reached to restrain upon waking each morning, helped him to learn of the pregnancy that could come to convey a picture through a few simple strokes.
In high school, the young Californian took his first steps into the world of music to start distributing flyers handmade. These were based on a book about sex education provided by the mother of Mike Einziger and obviously people did not quite understand the relationship between an early Incubus and images of this kind. The experiment was an important phase for Boyd and after much struggle finally managed to realize his dream to join the Community College to study fine arts.
Within a few semesters Brandon felt he had to leave school to pursue full-time Incubus. This rotation, however, caused the artist leave aside the design world. Boyd took a few years away but eventually released "White Fluffy Clouds," a first book in which agglutinated some of the writings and drawings that Boyd had been done in the late 90's / early 2000.
The style of the portraits, throughout his career, has been largely inspired by classical Japanese that stream where natural elements and figures intertwined with all kinds of mammals and living things. The book cover you see below is just a reflection of what has been said:
Later, in 2007 and taking advantage of the end of the tour "Light Grenades", Brandon returned to dazzle with their creativity with the launch of another book art. This was titled "From the Murks of the Sultry Abyss", was published again under Endophasia and also played to weave stories, photographs and illustrations of the artist of fantasy. This book and its predecessor "White Fluffy Clouds" can still be purchased through the official website of artist.
Well into 2007, Brandon needed a break. Taking advantage of his teammate Mike Einziger returned to Harvard to study physics, Incubus singer decided it was time to return to study art at a school in Los Angeles. That period, which lasted only a few months, again exploiting the creativity of Boyd to the extent that the Californian decided to ally with Hurley to launch a line of shirts beneficial and, in turn, his first mural art. The impressive results of the experiment was exposed on April 2.
Incubus returned to delve into the music scene with "If Not Now, When?" Which was published in mid-2011. Although lately the professional life of Brandon Boyd has been pretty hectic, "The Invisible Floating Torso Man" has been achieved. find their holes to surprise with a new line of shirts made with Hurley charities and occasional exhibition of paintings like that took place at Museum Of Monterey. The sea theme was the epicenter of all designs displayed in an event in which Boyd again demonstrated his love for sustainability and that beloved sport called surfing.
Looking in retrospect his life is easy to appreciate the importance of paint for Brandon Boyd. Far from being a musician to use, the U.S. needs to feed back with a creativity that takes you to feel inspired in various artistic fields. That, coupled with his personality so geared to the beneficial and sustainable, makes it different, special. And that's what we love about Brandon, may the years go for it but there will always be in your heart that creative impetuosity born from the moment he saw the portraits of his mother.

Gallery traffic lights presents: Max Weber - "pamphlet of Youth"

From 19.06. 07/31/2012 to present the light crossing the gallery exhibition "pamphlet of Youth" of young Munich artist Max Weber (not related to any of the well-known sociologists and economists Maximilian Carl Emil Weber, after the Munich Max-Weber-Platz is named) . On 18.06. also takes place 17 to 22 clock a private viewing, of course, is at the Max Weber in person. But who is Max Weber? He is a 24-year-old who wears a lot of anger in itself; anger at the authorities, rage against the indiscriminate, superficial, hedonistic behavior, and the money lust of our society. So much anger, that he no longer enough to paint as a valve. The painting, which is concerned in its current phase of work with the meat, usually the torn flesh of the injury. No, Max Weber has also another channel for his rage, he has yet to write, for example, a "pamphlet of youth". That report states:
"Because we want to build houses, but to change the world, we are noble. Because we believe that our growing sense of frugality and not be grown to like, we are in motion, and because we are moving, we will change something. Idealistic dream may you call it, fudge or just immature surreality. But we shit on your mind, because the truth is that the ruling class, the dominant ideology is afraid of the youth, because we are the ones that bring your world to totter. "
Even before his "meat phase", the paintings of Max Weber expressed mostly out of anger or they lived, something intrinsically disturbing. One of his paintings were, and are never: conciliatory. One the other hand they are and were always imposing and monstrous, with attention to detail and perfection. And in almost any other young artists, it is exciting to experience, one where the future now already so complete and versatile artist will lead to.
Come and visit Max Weber's exhibition "pamphlet of Youth" in the period from 18.06. until 31.07.2012 in the light crossing Gallery in Munich. The team from Munich Blog wishes much fun.

A while ago I introduced the American band from Portland blouse with her seductive '80s wave sound once before. Does the trailer for the new album by Muse?

I'm terrified. I really am, I just saw the trailer for the new album by Muse - predictably titled "The 2nd Law" - and almost gives me something. Hereby acknowledge that teaser starts out the less correct; television news, epic and edgy aesthetic ... we, as usual when it comes to promotional material from Matt Bellamy and his men. The real problem starts when out of nowhere a melody, predictably Muse's new album, we anticipated dub-step as the last, and controversial ingredient to be included in the formula of sound that has raised the group of Devon in the last years.

There will be many opinions about it but hopefully this is a "troll trailer" of the good. What do you think? Is this what you hear at the end or is only a joke for those who already pounded us with "The Resistance" in 2009?
