5 years have passed since the last Future Sound of Jazz. At the time, Compost mastermind Reinboth has more to deep house, disco edits and felt attracted. Since the time he was 1-2 but then again probably something back to the roots. But now as the future sound of jazz sounds like in 2012?
Of course, jazzy, but also electronically, often housy, some with influences from Afro-funk or disco and mostly fresh. Disc 1 is therefore more slowly - especially "PlumRain" Anchor Song, "Fleur" by Sepalcure and "Leslie Viusion" by Andreas Saag know how to please. Some songs also have a lot of nerve factor as Lethe Save with Autotune and "dung-hanging CD" effects. But probably sound to modern jazz art Sun
Disc 2 is faster and has "Jazz Shaman" a pearl of Wareika with Afro-Funk guitar. Disko Drunkards deliver nerdy disco funk and Hypnolove make almost pure Italo disco of the 80s. Interesting are the "Ginger Vibes" by ragout de Lapin. The status quo of jazz Future Sounds convincing, despite some great songs not on the whole route. With a double-CD, there has overreached himself. Too bad, but in the mp3 era not bad. For a good CD, the songs range all.

Restart all-rounder
Dobre "Do The Dobre (Again)" (Millaphon)
The makers of Millaphon were fishing again, and so have not been withdrawn by Dobre thick, but iridescent fish ashore. The album "Do The Dobre," with the label now goes on tour, is not that new - just a year after its initial release, then in self-distribution over No. Bakery Records, were the guys around singer John Dobroschke the drive-by Management apparently tired and so they did the deal to re-release probably not unwelcome. Strictly speaking, the songs on the record are not all dewy, some people came even from the early days of the band, which is, after all, since 2007 in business and in addition a number of original songs and a charming cover album ("Radio Dobré") has achieved .
Eleven pieces and two encores that is - the first few minutes are over and, curse or blessing, the reference book will browse them in spirit. This is mainly due to Dobroschkes distinctive voice, the cruise times nölig and cutting, then again so is soft and careful, Gordon Gano of the Violent Femmes one since, Mike Scott and the Waterboys is over and the bedroom was not far wrong when she the head of the band - Attention, hundredweight load! - The "Dylan of Schöngeising" dubbed.
Enough of the comparisons, you would not anyway after so changeable and diverse in Munich presents the quintet - they want to, it shows quickly, try everything and really blunders are not run them do so. It manages the heavy blues-rock ("Wrong Road"), sometimes like the broad scope and loudmouthed as once the Stones ("Buy Me A Ticket" / "MNY"), as well as the rough folk of the search for meaning in "Freddy" ("Just go and try to be honest to you, you will fail but try the best you can. Cause I want you zo understand there is not no plan, not for you and not for me, not for all humanity ...") . It is acoustically and dreamy ("Help Me Now"), with dogs barking and swinging Hühnergackern ("Good Old Days") and even as a crooner makes Dobroschke a veritable figure ("Cream"). The little plate, brünftige "T-Shirt" scars but very easy on the external boundary along Cham, but falls in the number of good ideas are not really significant.
Dobre, it can therefore quite large, can build carnival tents, in turn, fit into the whole chorus, and they can be fairly small - with a "dictionary" at the end, even older, but still the perfect finish. The Instructions in the booklet by the way they have maintained a boat, a boat, which also comes at a cap, depending on which corner you pull. And also a nice metaphor for the music of the five - which, depending on the viewing angle, holds for every mood, the melody, and not arbitrary, but lovable. So good catch.

'Where Are You Now', the new Mumford & Sons sounded at SXSW
Mumford and Sons are still one of the protagonists of this SXSW bands. In fact it was only yesterday that the band of Marcus Mumford eclipsed the other musicians thanks to the debut of a film which led in turn to submit a new item entitled 'Where Are You Now'. This piece, which is presumed to appear in the British debut LP this year, follows the same pattern as 'Lover Of The Light', 'Hopeless Wanderer' and other sections of the band. You know: folk manners with much play of voices and an acoustic guitar playing so omnipresent. Listen on a rendition of a week ago in Nashville in the same inning.
The film that Mumford presented at SXSW with Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros and Old Crow Medicine Show's "Big Easy Express", a documentary directed by Emmett Malloy showing in great detail the tour "Railroad Revival Tour" that three bands lived in 2011. Far from being a conventional tour, the "Railroad" led to the three formations to travel a total of 2477 miles on board the old trains. Depending on the frontman of Mumford & Sons this documentary was the best he has done in his life so you have to see it once it is released outside the United States. Attached below the preview of 'Where Are You Know' so you can get an idea of what awaits us in this curious feature.

Death wears leather in the video for 'The Wave' (Miike Snow)
We have not been able to hear "Happy To You" - the second studio album Miike Snow which was released on March 13 - but something tells me it will be one of the bombings of the year. Proof that the Swedes are on the right path is found in the music video for 'The Wave' which recently climbed to the network via Noisey and serves as the perfect sequel to the video of 'Paddling Out' (also attached in this post) that also premiered recently.
This second production directed by Andreas Nilsson (MGMT, Fever Ray) takes us to a world where an evil being manage to kill anyone who approaches. This bizarre, at the same time a funny clip, is like a way to criticize the music industry, the man in leather pants is just a representation of as mainstream is killing the originality exists in the planet.
Police block eating donuts, aliens that symbolize death ... What will bring the third installment of these video clips of Miike Snow?Namely!

Filtering a fragment of 'Blood For Poppies', new single by Garbage
Yesterday was a crazy thing for fans of Garbage. Morning apparently leaked onto the net 'Blood For Poppies', the first single from that "Not Your Kind Of People" which goes on sale permanently on 14 May. Many sites ran to upload but the management of group business like few others, managed to cut off all access to the full version of this easy listening. By way of compensation here is a snippet of more than one minute with which we can intuit where did throw the new style of Shirley Manson's band.
This small fragment containing the DNA was known to Americans in his day. A guitar line capable of demolishing walls and walls, screaming (almost sobbing) Shirley Manson and a powerful "punch" pop are the items that appear discontinuously along this audio file. Now I have to wait for it to filter the full version so we can give us the pleasure of saying a phrase that we've been waiting a long time: friends, Garbage are already here. And this is what you enjoy in the next Bilbao BBK Live.

"The Only Place" emo disk (and therapeutic) Best Coast
Got the surprise in 2010 with "Crazy For You" which led to conquer garage rock enthusiasts and lo-fi. Today, a couple of years later, the singer Bethany Cosentino and Bobb Bruno multifaceted join forces again in "The Only Place", the second LP will be released on May 14 and will end up defining whether the phenomenon of "Best Coast "was one day flower.
For this occasion the duo Angeleno has had the collaboration of Jon Brion, renowned producer who has worked on notable albums of the caliber of "Whatever" by Aimee Mann or "When The Pawn ..." from the always intriguing Fiona Apple. According to Cosentino's own words "The Only Place" is an album that shows the process of maturity that has lived in California the last two or three years. "Crazy For You was an album written in a very insecure, weird phase of my life. Had 22 years by then and even today I am very proud of these issues. Now I have 25 years, and things in my life have changed greatly, greatly in recent years. The songs are largely about what I experienced in the past two years and how everything has changed. "
As you read these statements one may think that everything will have a happy look on this record. Nothing is further from the truth: while the forms (the melody) are really dynamic, the letter of the topics will be characterized by being downright sad. Understanding this new concept we can understand Cosentino when he says that "The Only Place" will be a record "emo". Perhaps some of you will be disappointed (and in a way we can understand) but we vibrate to hear it. And more to know that the second work of Beth and Bob re-recorded versions will have some issues that we had heard as 'How They Want Me to Be' (attached below), 'Up All Night' or 'Dreaming My Life Away' .
New album, recent tour of the UK, new energy ... Best Coast Now it just needs a drummer to help them replace the expelled Ari Koehler of Vivian Girls. At least we should expect that he / the newest member of the band can outlast the former Vivian Girl. Go genius should spend the two biggest indie pop masterminds of Los Angeles!
Tracklist Best Coast - The Only Place (2012):

By Heidi in hell
Every reasonably educated native speakers are a few lines from the folk song "Happy is the gypsy life," familiar to be - the thing that is with the Emperor's interest and the green forest, the hunger and Hirschlein - lines with which we now no more people behind the stove or can bring out desk. Whether lying on the narrow-minded social romanticism is too slow or the Schunkel rhythms - the fact is that with "Faria-Faria-Ho" now make no state is, as you must do something clever. And since 3000, as Django Gypsy boy in Upper Bavaria, avowed pimps and wannabe Stenze, just do this, the time spent in songs such as these is minimal.
Equally unfounded, the initial fear, this ride someone's dialect wave straight into the studio the size transmitter and ergo the grave - is safe after all the hype a bit more caution, if no longer the local Gäubodenfeste, but whole mountain or multi-purpose halls are booked for the rally of supporters .
Nevertheless, what hold the four guys there, mostly original and electrifying the highest degree. The direction they put themselves - Wild bird, Uncut hewn, and always extra large home Amorous feelings between Django Reinhardt and zoo-Toni. Cliché as youthful privilege that needs to be lived - of course: "I remain long without my Lem, I lifted my long time Lem fia ois, Will cheer bugglad way muast mittn durche geh Who wost woast ois vasammst, get up and stay wennst grod drammst "(Time fia ois). When the spinning top, is some reservation thrown overboard and the furrowed thinkers face gives way to a broad grin - not who would prefer to "Heidi," a spin ("Put Osh danzd de, Harrschaftszeidn!") Or Tscharlie-equal in the Kitsch sun ride ("And koana is woana to di, but you let aufhoidn Tues nia", Django Django). Long philosophizing is not their thing ("Where's mosque is because i am" south wind) and when it comes to an end, then held for bitt'schön Portner cheerfully straight into "d'hell" ("Kimm no nei! For di, for di is no a free grill! "Since Wuide and there Deife). The weeping fiddle, bass guitars and the box hip twirl around each other - is difficult and even slightly from the formerly free fun Besatzerruf succeed the motley troupe a fine piece of dance music "Rucky Verch!" (Hands high).
If you can claim a debut like this, the band had actually done anything wrong, then that's a sure hand, a welcome compliment. On the other hand, it is hoped also that the four have a reasonable level of internalized this view of the world set to music, so Django is enough to maintain the permeability and the wit of this panel for coming.

If you moved to Google Plus Pelle
Google has made recently for vertebrate properly and does not currently still with the depleting intensity. If the debates on Search, Plus Your World abate, the search giant provides through a new PageRank update for Panda & conversation. And no matter how you look at it, all roads lead back inevitably to Google Plus.
Who threw in the last few days to look at the search is necessarily about the new positioning of the user panel of Google accounts to be tripped. It was once hidden in the gray / black mottled navigation bar, it now moves directly to the forefront and forces the visitor to virtually.
Google change to Google Plus Bar
This gives way to the annoying "Please use Google Chrome but" - Erinnerungsbox of Google in the background and gives the field for another imbecility. I wonder why you have brought this Userbox in the search. I really liked it much better than this has been in the navigation bar. I do not like at all. Is that when you have that, or am I alone there?
