If one goes on a journey ..

Help, we freeze ... then he can tell. Or sing either of them too. In Munich's smallest opera house, the Pasinger factory that had recently been the musical help, we travel premiere. A young and very dedicated team has implemented the musical heart-warming and hilarious travel tips.
Whether lost luggage, annoying automated hotline airline "AidasuchtdenSuperstarShow", the buffet on board, the Salzburg Festival or travel agents who sell a really everything, nothing was left, with which a traveler has ever faced.
Julia Dippel, already last year had a huge success with the direction of Don Giovanni in the same house shows here that she is also the musical genre at home. With few resources, they conjure up for each song and sketch a suitable atmosphere of the stage. Thus one of the singers sitting in I and Margherita in a suitcase from the assembled car and you can hardly stop laughing when he tells the story of Montezuma's revenge, which haunts him still. Wonderful was the song in which a divorced couple meets at the resort, both because the book is still the same travel agency. Help, we travel
Even before the idea could be to feel like in an airplane, I was served tomato juice and boarding was finally completed. In the very authentic atmosphere could then feel the same as on board the airline miracle. Here, the team had to fight that night with great difficulty, but they brilliantly mastered. One of the singers was a day of dress rehearsal for the premiere came to the hospital and an appendix easier. Something had to be reorganized and the premiere was still with great success on the stage. On this second night of the singer came directly from the hospital, at least to make the captain's announcements, and thus to relieve their colleagues. What a great commitment from all parties involved, because you realize how much heart and soul are all here.
Musically it was very nice, Melanie Renz, Anja Straubhaar and Stephan joke Linger convinced with great vocals and lots of enthusiasm and Michael Mueller took us more than once with his beer seriously put forward announcements. Sensitively accompanied by the quartet on piano and Martin Steinlein Nadja Straubhaar on cello. A very entertaining evening!
Help, we go away, further performances on 22 and 23.6. and 16 and 17.8. in the factory Passenger, maps of Munich Ticket

Rain Drinkers: Obscure spiral movements

The two experienced multi-instrumentalist Xavier Kraal (aka Troy Schafer, etc. BURIAL HEX, kinit HER) and Joe Taylor as RAIN DRINKERS weave exquisite, organic tone poems. As with the 2011 release amazing "Urthen Web," gushes "Yesodic helices" of a piece of earth (freak) folk-ground. In whirring, droning and obscure rich textures from soft psychedelia and deep Ambienzen be spread. From ominous sounds of light and darkness created the duo from Wisconsin's very own mystical world of sound. Very detailed, eclectic and impressive.

"Yesodic helices" in March 2012 has been the exquisite Brave Mysteries label on vinyl (MYST006) published and can be obtained directly through their web shop.

Listen to four new songs by Franz Ferdinand

Franz Ferdinand seemed to be missing in action. If we stop to think we will see that the band Alex Kapranos was not on the axis of the media storm since 2009, the year in which the band released one compilation entitled "Blood" is included in the dub versions of some of the issues "Tonight: Franz Ferdinand". Today, three years after that, Franz Ferdinand begin to soar to start playing live some totally original themes to date.

These songs, entitled 'Right Thoughts', 'Brief Encounters', 'Fresh Strawberries' and 'Tree And Animals' were interpreted at first in the intimate concert performed Franz Ferdinand in Limerick (Ireland) on Saturday May 19. It is believed that this handful of cuts, quite in line with the second album of Franz, will come included in a fourth studio album which was initially thought would come out later this 2012. Unfortunately there is still no official information to mark a departure date so we'll have to resort to his performance at Primavera Sound 2012 to go towards getting wet lips to the next stage of Franz Ferdinand to come.

Yeasayer | Henrietta

Long not heard from the men's Yeasayer. Since the last album Odd Blood from the year 2010, it became quiet around the trio from Brooklyn, which his own music as "Middle Eastern-psych-pop-snap-gospel". But now comes with Henrietta, a first sign of life. The track sounds a lot like Yeasayer, but also different. Melancholy and somewhat more like a rain song. Gives information about the hopefully upcoming album, unfortunately, still can not look, but you look forward to the guest appearance of the lads already sold out at the Melt! Festival this year.

The Cribs - Uptight

Johnny Marr is no longer part of The Cribs but the British have been fully aware of what is coming to play with the release of "In The Belly Of The Brazen Bull". Despite the ups and downs that are emerging in the LP (especially in the final section of the disk), the Jarman brothers have managed to hold up well the guy with some soft parts and frantic. One of them is 'Uptight', probably the best that The Cribs have released with 'Come On, Be a No-One' in recent years.

With 'Uptight' The Cribs have created the perfect song to be chanted by crowds at Reading, Leeds and other festivals to visit the rock tribe of Wakefield. To not miss this encouraging hymn to wildness here we leave you with the audio of the piece. Hopefully 'Uptight' becomes single, Jarmans fans deserve that half of Europe dance to this song.

The Cribs Lyrics - Uptight:

Tonight It Seems for sure
If I would made it up the ...
... And some more, It Makes No Difference
Cause that's what riding drifts ...
Trust the love ...
So I might Have To Go
You only know, only know

No one Have to tell me,
No one Have to tell me,
I know why I still let it go ...
It's a uptight, uptight we need a
So sorry That I never will be the
Kind of guy you want
But it's to be the uptight ...

Treat my Consistent, But It's something she do not know
Ever ... a picture ... you will taste my ...
But one in every way, That I do not wanna know
You only know, only know

No one Have to tell me,
I know why I still let it go
It's a uptight, uptight we need a
So sorry That I never will be the
Kind of guy you want
But it's to be the uptight ...

Gone away the thought ... this thought Remains Remains
Gone away, ... so tell me, the spot Remains
Gone away the thought ... this thought Remains Remains

Howth - Newkirk (2012)

Life is full of surprises. Some are carved and progressive way and others, to a lesser extent, impact your life so meteoric. In music it is the same: there are artists who discovered after many listeners albums, and others that in a minute you get done with us. That case was that of The Head & The Heart, St. Lucia and an incredible group emerged from New York who has managed to convince me that it's sometimes unfair music. They call Howth, are from New York, no more than 500 fans on its Facebook page and have not turned much. But they have talent, guts and skills. And they have wrought an LP entitled "Newkirk" which could well fade after some of the most illustrious artists of the indie folk / rock international.
The tentacles of this modest stylistic quintet lengthen until encompass all types of melodies in a variety LP, powerful and tight production. While Carl Creighton carries the baton of the composition of the subjects (and also with the vowels of the disc), Blake seconds him with the arrangements and Aviva, Miles and Neil, with their instruments, get extended to the vibrant exponent factor resides at the old center of each of the cuts.
There are moments for everything. For a powerful indie rock reminiscent of Guster (that gay anthem entitled 'Only Right Turns "). For a pop of deep land bill that makes the feeling of Oliver Tank ('A Lie "). Or even for a piece that rescues the class and style that is festering in the melodies of the 60 ('Grand Marais'). Variety is what characterizes an album, with 'Snowbank' spearhead (whiplash go more addictive!) Reminds some of the great works of The Shins for a compositional credit as immaculate ..
If you go the indie folk who can adapt to time to rock / pop candid and brilliant, this is your disc. Because "Newkirk" shows us a group that if the goddess was more benevolent justice, now would be a few steps above the level where it is currently located. But it's all a matter of time, life will smile. Reasons for this have been made.

Belgian sensation Chorus: Scala & Kolacny Brothers live at Circus Krone

Scala Club Circus Krone in Munich, opposites are part of life. Whether fire and water. Day and night. Or love and hate. Contradictions provide points of friction, to the appeal. Sometimes neutralize the two poles - and sometimes they make, just like yin and yang in Chinese philosophy, first at the whole picture. In music, counterpoint have always been a suitable propellant, to create new sounds and touching melodies. This was so even in Mozart and Beethoven, and that's no different today. The best recent example of this is Belgium, by brothers Steven and Stijn Kolacny, initiated and guided girls choir Scala & Kolacny Brothers, which is on 05.26.2012 at the Circus Krone in Munich as a guest.
The choir are now a total of 200 girls aged 16 to 26 years. On tour, they go in different strengths. Elves Exemplary voices that make for a fantastic cosmos of sound. Mainly because the lead Kolacny Brothers this extraordinary ensemble in the most unusual sound fields: In the world of classic rock, pop and metal. Instead of a dignified, from mainstream and classic powered, song, food Scala & Kolacny Brothers serving live and on CD-unsuspected choir songs by bands like Nirvana, Radiohead, Metallica, Rammstein, The Police and Puddle Of Mudd. Only by Steven Kolacny on the piano accompanied, this sparked, led by conductor Stijn Kolacny ensemble an almost magical aura. Pop? Yes, definitely. , As never heard of.
May Scala Club Circus Krone in Munich, The contrast between musically it finally barely walk - but hardly more successful. Sold-out tours throughout Europe, rave reviews, eleven highly successful albums, and finally an extremely strong media presence in print, radio, TV and the Web make sure that all these other girls choir has become a cult.

Maximo Park reinvidican his status to "The National Health"

Maximo Park has been one of those bands that seems to have lost much steam in recent years. It is true that never reached the status of other groups of the time (Franz Ferdinand, Killers EGT, etc ...) but the British always characterized by displaying a lens and post punk with a touch espirálico in their guitar riffs. Today, after three years without throwing disc ("By Quicken The Heart" was released in 2009) the band of Paul Smith returns to challenge us to a pulse with an album - "The National Health" - which will be released on 11 June.

We read through NME that the members of Maximo Park were a little tired of the apparent false happiness that is spread in most of the topics listed in the charts of half the world. In response MP have carved a disk centered concepts aimed at a more controlled and earthy optimism. The single 'Hips And Lips', 'The Undercurrents' and 'Reluctant Love' is a good example of this shift in the heart of the Newcastle group.

We recall that Maximo Park are playing for free in the Plaza Festival 2012 Odissea Barcelona on Saturday 12 May. For more information please visit the website of the Maremagnum.

Philip Gufler shows since Tuesday the 24th April to and including 11 May each of 12 clock bis 20 clock in the Munich Academy Gallery, University subway station mezzanine floor, the exhibition "Imaginary masculinity." With his video installation, he draws on a wide enstes images and ideas of masculinity in art history and puts them in dialogue with his own.

The walls of the Academy Gallery, Philip has painted for the exhibition "Imaginary masculinity" wine red - white with omissions - the invitation flyer is the plan from them. He stressed the printed materials in succession up and down and throws himself behind in everyday poses. Sometimes he smokes, he once lipstick red lipstick with a large area of his mouth. A striking example is especially the scene where he "I'm desperate" is superimposed by G. Wearing's photography, a tie binds. "I just find this picture so beautiful because the businessman is portrayed by the superposition suddenly vulnerable." Said Philip.

More of the exhibition, among other things appear by Andy Warhol and Elvis Presley with gun in Philip's video installation, there is more to the addiction to self-representation.
