Maximo Park reinvidican his status to "The National Health"

Maximo Park has been one of those bands that seems to have lost much steam in recent years. It is true that never reached the status of other groups of the time (Franz Ferdinand, Killers EGT, etc ...) but the British always characterized by displaying a lens and post punk with a touch espirálico in their guitar riffs. Today, after three years without throwing disc ("By Quicken The Heart" was released in 2009) the band of Paul Smith returns to challenge us to a pulse with an album - "The National Health" - which will be released on 11 June.

We read through NME that the members of Maximo Park were a little tired of the apparent false happiness that is spread in most of the topics listed in the charts of half the world. In response MP have carved a disk centered concepts aimed at a more controlled and earthy optimism. The single 'Hips And Lips', 'The Undercurrents' and 'Reluctant Love' is a good example of this shift in the heart of the Newcastle group.

We recall that Maximo Park are playing for free in the Plaza Festival 2012 Odissea Barcelona on Saturday 12 May. For more information please visit the website of the Maremagnum.
